First Since its opening in 1954, St. Helen School near Fairborn strives to promote the spiritual and intellectual development of every student. First in the State of Ohio to be certified as a Virtue Based Restorative Discipline School, students are educated in the Catholic Faith, prepared for the sacraments, and attend weekly Mass. St. Helen, located in Riverside, Ohio, is a community that celebrates diversity and welcomes families from areas including Beavercreek, Dayton, Fairborn, Huber Heights, Riverside, and military families from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Academics / Curriculum
St. Helen Catholic School near Fairborn strives to offer a Christ-centered program, which includes teaching the message of Christ, the building of community, and Christian service. We follow the Graded Course of Study for Elementary Schools which is provided by the Archdiocesan Office of Education.

You are welcome here! St Helen School has been providing Catholic values and education to military families for almost 60 years. Located within a few miles of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, we welcome children of military families regardless of the time of year PCS brings you here. Many Riverside, Fairborn, Dayton and Beavercreek residents have busing provided. Being only minutes from work will also give you the convenience of being able to bring your child to school. A preschool through eighth grade school, St. Helen is a community that values our military families and their contribution to our nation’s defense.
