Ways to Support St. Helen School

Join an organization

  • Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO): Our PTO helps support many activities, services and funds that benefit every child at St. Helen School. Contact the main office for more information.

  • Booster Club: An organization that exists to benefit the youth of the St. Helen Community. Through this organization many of our extracurricular activities including sports are available to our students.

Volunteer *

Parent and grandparent volunteers are welcome in the school. Involvement in your child(ren)’s education is very important and has been proven to have a healthy effect on the children of volunteers. All volunteers are required to take the Archdiocesan Child Protection Workshop, SafeParish,  prior to involvement with children in the parish/school and complete a background check to comply with The Archdiocese of Cincinnati policies. Volunteers need to be aware of the liability they accept when volunteering. Because volunteers are not employees of the Archdiocese, they are not covered under benefit plans, health and life insurance, etc.

There are many opportunities to help.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact anyone on the Boosters Board (athletics), PTO board or  a teacher. Volunteering is a great way to make yourself feel welcomed and get to know other parents and the children of our school!

Endowment Fund

The St Helen Parish Endowment Fund is used to help educate Catholic leaders for the  future and instill our founding Christian values in our children. Distributions from the Endowment support assistance grants to keep tuition affordable, freeing other resources to attract and maintain an outstanding faculty and staff.  If you would like to make a donation to the Endowment Fund please contact our Business Manager at mel.mcwilliams@sthelenparish.org.

*A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before beginning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
